We helped Expensify, a San Francisco-based tech company, find a new home in Portland, OR in an unexpected location: the First National Bank building on SW 5th and Harvey Milk. This building was more than a century old and had been unused and vacant for many years. However, the bones were still beautiful and the 55-foot-high ceilings allowed for extensive renovations to breathe new life into an expansive space. The classic columns, pendant light fixtures, and once-cold bank vaults were just some of details utilized in the upgraded design. This property was an extremely adaptive redevelopment project that our team helped Expensify connect with.
